Zumbro Valley Golf Course is hitting a milestone that not many places get to see… 100 years.
And to mark the occasion, the course is inviting the entire community out for a free, family-friendly celebration on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
This isn’t just another event on the calendar. It’s a full-on thank you to everyone who’s been part of Zumbro Valley over the last century.
A Free, Family-Friendly Celebration for the Community
The celebration will run from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and will transform the course into an interactive space designed for families, kids, and the community to come together.
Attendees can expect:
- Food from Hidden Pines Bar and Grill, Ice Cream from Mrs. Patty’s Sweet Treats, drinks, and more!
- Games and interactive activities
- Kids crafts and family-friendly entertainment
- Bounce houses and play areas
- Giveaways and engaging booths from local businesses and organizations

FREE FlashMob! Concert to Close Out the Night (ages 21 and up)
After the daytime celebration wraps up, the event will roll right into the evening with a live concert featuring FlashMob!
Important Event Details to Know
To make room for the celebration, Zumbro Valley Golf Course will be closed for golf on August 1st, and the entire parking lot will be used for event activities.
Parking will be available off-site at the high school parking lot AND the old relay station lot in Mantorville, with free trolley service running to and from the course throughout the day, making it easy for everyone to get in and out.
Local Businesses and Organizations Invited to Participate
We are also inviting local businesses and organizations to be part of the event.
We are looking for groups that can bring something interactive to the table… whether that’s games, activities, crafts, or hands-on experiences that families can enjoy.
There is no cost to participate, but space will be limited. Vendors will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, with consideration given to the type of experience they offer.

It’s where people learned the game, spent summer nights with friends, played in leagues, and made memories that have lasted a lifetime.
